Sweetness

Maggie is finishing up her first year of dance at Dance Studio Elite! I am so proud of her hard work. She is finally gearing up for her show this weekend. We had a few minutes before leaving for dress rehearsal to snap a few pictures in her tutu!!! Mom even figured out this whole bun thing she needs to have on the top of her head! I have learned more about hair, bobby pins, and buns today. Here are few of my favorites photos from our 5 minute photo shoot:) Can't wait to see her show!

The Lange's

Here is one more set of pictures that I had the opportunity to take prior to the Christmas rush! The was a very QUICK shoot as it was FREEZING out but FUN!! The boys were great about taking pictures and were very adventurous. I can understand why Shannon likes pink so much.

The Zimmerman Family

I had the oppportunity to take do a few sessions with families prior to the rush of the holiday season! I am of course just getting up to show you them.  Here are a few of my favorites of this wonderful family!! Tyler and Heidi are my cousins as well so it was great fun to take their pictures!

A new tradition!

We are so excited to have a new family member every Christmas!! We introduced "Elf on the Shelf" to Madison, Maggie, and Carson!! Carson didn't quite understand everything but Maggie was completely convinced that our new elf in the house flies to the north pole everynight to give Santa Claus a report! I just wish I had the camera ready when the "Elf on the Shelf" made his first appearance. We started out the night getting ready to decorate our christmas tree.  The book appeared under the tree and we read it before we finished decorating the tree. The elf appeared from our box of christmas decorations. Maggie remembered everything from the book including that she could not touch it. Carson didn't really want anything to do with the elf.  The magic of Christmas appeared in Maggie's eyes and it was priceless!! I hope you enjoy some pictures from our new elf!! He is named Ralph.

Tis The Season

I just wanted to send all my friends a special greeting to kick off the Christmas season!! I hope you are feeling blessed this holiday season and are filled with joy and happiness!! I am thankful to have such a wonderful family and great friends! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Giving is scentsational!!!

I am so thankful every year for all the blessings I have been given!!! I have a warm home where we can make memories with my family! We have been blessed in so many ways I couldn't even begin to blog about all of them!! It is this time of year when I start to ask how could we give back? What can we do to help others who have been given so many challenges that I will never see? My heart aches for many who simply cannot even afford to serve their family a warm Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner let alone be able to provide their children with gifts on Christmas.  I am sure they would be blessed to be able to see a smile on their little ones face with even just one gift!!

Shayla

It seems like forever since I have been here to blog!!! I have done a few shoots recently and wanted to share! This Shayla...isn't she the sweetest thing EVER!!! She belongs to one of my BFF's and we had a great morning walking the streets of downtown, visiting, and capturing Shayla's sweetness!!! Here are my favorites from the day.
